AI Policy
AI is used as a support tool, not as a substitute for judgment.
Principle
Anchor Digital may use AI tools selectively to support parts of its internal workflow.
These tools may improve speed, organisation or early stage exploration. They do not replace editorial responsibility, strategic judgment or accountability for client facing work.
AI may support parts of the process, but responsibility for published content, strategic recommendations and client facing outputs remains human. Anchor Digital does not treat AI generated material as inherently reliable. It is treated as draft level input until it has been reviewed.
Where AI may be used
AI may be used in limited supporting roles. This may include:
- Early stage research support
- Summarisation of non sensitive material
- Drafting assistance
- Structural exploration
- Internal workflow efficiency
These uses are intended to support clearer thinking and faster internal processing. They do not replace review, interpretation or final decision making.
What AI does not replace
AI tools are not used as a substitute for:
- Strategic responsibility
- Editorial review
- Factual verification
- Client specific judgment
- Final recommendation making
All final outputs intended for publication or client delivery are reviewed and shaped by a human decision maker.
Verification and quality
Generated material is not treated as verified fact without review. Where AI assisted material is used, it is reviewed before being included in any client facing or published output.
Where appropriate, source based and editorially reviewed material is preferred over unsupported generation.
Confidentiality
Where client work involves confidential or commercially sensitive information, AI use is approached cautiously. Anchor Digital does not use AI tools in ways that would unnecessarily expose client sensitive material or reduce control over confidential information.
Only the minimum necessary information should be used in any workflow where AI support is involved.
What this means in practice
For clients, this means:
- AI may help accelerate parts of internal work
- Recommendations are not delivered without human review
- Final advisory judgment remains accountable and human
- Clarity, discretion and verification take precedence over speed
This reflects the working model of Anchor Digital: structure before noise, judgment before automation.
Position
AI is useful when it improves efficiency without weakening accountability.
It is not useful when it introduces ambiguity, lowers trust or replaces the professional judgment a client is paying for.
The aim is not more automation. It is disciplined support where support is actually useful.
